This is my first and only (so far) tattoo. It was done by Lyam Sparkes at Shangri La in Dalston, London.
I got some questions about line-art only tattoos recently. Usually when I see them, I feel like they could have reached a higher potential with a little bit of shading. I think this piece looks really complete and interesting though. One of the more successful takes on a folk-art, etching type motif. All of he detail lines enhance the piece instead of making it confusing or effecting it’s readability.
